Lions in the Trees 🦁

What happens

At Lake Manyara, Tanzania, the kids look UP: a lion is napping on a branch with its legs dangling down. Pink flamingos line the lake, hippos peek out, the ball gets stuck in the lion's tree (nobody is climbing up there!), and baboons ride out with babies on their backs.

Fun facts

• Nobody knows for sure why Manyara's lions climb trees. Maybe to stay away from bugs!
• Baby baboons ride on their mums' backs like jockeys.
• Lions stay wild; we stay in the safari car.
