The Bleeding-Heart Monkeys ❤️

What happens

High in Ethiopia's Simien Mountains, on top of giant cliffs, a whole hillside of fluffy monkeys munch grass like cows. Each one has a red heart on its chest, and they flip their lips up in the silliest grins.

Fun facts

• Geladas are the only monkeys that eat mostly grass.
• Bearded vultures drop bones from the sky to crack them open.
• Walia ibex live in the Simien Mountains and nowhere else.
