The Rainbow Squirrel 🐿️

What happens

In the green tea hills of Kerala's Western Ghats, a squirrel as long as a kid, painted maroon, orange and cream, races along the tea rows. A mountain goat watches from the hill, silver-maned monkeys sit in the front row, and when the monsoon rain arrives, a round purple frog pops up out of the ground.

Fun facts

• Malabar giant squirrels can leap 6 meters from tree to tree!
• The purple frog lives underground almost all year and comes up only for monsoon rain.
• Lion-tailed macaques have a silver mane like a lion!
