What happens

On Barro Colorado Island in Panama, howler monkeys roar so loudly the leaves shake. Leafcutter ants march past carrying green leaves like a parade, and an agouti hops about burying seeds.

• You can hear a howler monkey's call from about 5 km (3 miles) away!
• Leafcutter ants don't eat the leaves. They use them to grow their food!
• Agoutis bury seeds to eat later. The ones they forget grow into new trees!
